The British Army plans to buy 32 new heavy armored repair and recovery vehicles to replace the 47 ancient tank recovery vehicles (built on Chieftain chassis) which are currently in use. These old vehicles are worn out, hard to maintain, and can only barely perform their tasks with the new Challenger-2 tanks. --Stephen V Cole
