 Under pressure from Islamic radicals, the government has banned over a hundred websites (mostly foreign) that provide political ideas the Islamic radicals disagree with. Some of the banned sites only provided pornography. The government action can be circumvented by knowledgeable web users, and those techniques are expected to spread quickly through the Iranian Internet user community.
