 Japan is threatening to change it's constitution to allow its armed forces to take offensive operations against threats like North Korea. Japanese are becoming far more concerned about the threat of a nuclear armed, and unstable, North Korea. Japan is considering building its own nuclear weapons, and has already made constitutional changes to make it easier for the military to respond to a national emergency.
