Wearing parts of uniforms is not a problem, but increasingly, criminals and rebels have been dressing up in complete uniforms, often with weapons, and using that as cover for various acts of mayhem. Police are to check ID on suspicious people in uniform, and arrest those who are faking it.

December 12, 2006: The MILF will resume peace talks with the government. Negotiations were stalled over whether Christian areas in the south, would come under Moslem control.

December 11, 2006: In the south, a Moslem terrorist hideout was raided, and bomb was found. The cell phone detonated device lacked only a battery. The terrorists has managed to escape, just barely, as there was still warm food on the table. The bomb was apparently to be sneaked into an air force base, and was capable of destroying an aircraft. .

December 8, 2006: The embassies of United States, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand have warned their citizens that there might be terrorist attacks in the near future in the Philippines.
