One of the 13 suspected terrorists arrested in Jordan last December was Khalil Deek, a naturalized US Citizen originally born in the occupied West Bank. Deek is a veteran of the US armed forces, and did computer work in California before being arrested on a trip to Jordan. Deek traveled to Pakistan, and perhaps to Afghanistan, in 1997, but insisted that this was merely to record the writings of a revered Moslem cleric on a CD-ROM. Jordanian police, however, said that a CD-ROM found in his possession when he was arrested contained elaborate bomb-making instructions. Deek admitted that while in Pakistan he had a joint bank account with Abu Zubaydah, thought by US intelligence to be Osama bin Laden's "chief executive officer". Deek also admitted that he had given Abu Hosher, another of the 13 arrested men, a copy of the book "Encyclopedia Jihad" which also contains extensive data on military operations, conducting an
