Britain is looking for a new heavy support helicopter to replace 40 Puma and 62 Sea King helicopters. While the Super Puma, Merlin, NH90, and Sikorsky-92 are likely candidates, the V-22 may well win a part of the contract if only because Britain would gain access to tilt-rotor technology.--Stephen V Cole
