A bomb went off in the capital of Tibet. It was downtown at  8 PM, so there were no casualties. In the past five years, right such bombs have gone off. Resistance to Chinese rule is low key, but persistent. Meanwhile, the government announced that military spending will remain a high priority, especially as long as Taiwan remains a "renegade province."
