The new Somalia parliament, in one of its first acts, removed the prime minister and his government. A majority of the members was unhappy with the way government jobs had been divided among the clans and warlord factions. These jobs would control the expected flood of foreign aid, and would allow the clans and warlords to get their hands on that money.
