President Clinton's global travels have a serious impact on the Pentagon, which on the average picks up more than 80% of the cost. The Pentagon spent $37.7 million taking Clinton on a tour of Africa, $8.8 million for the trip to Chile, and $14 million for the visit to China.--Stephen V Cole
