has gone up greatly since last week (of course, it's always been high, this is just my excuse to post this) after the FY05 Air Force Reserve Lieutenant Colonel Board results were released. My promotion to O-5 will become effective 1 Oct 04. I could possibly be persuaded to arrange for an opportunity to tag my silver oak leaves on if you ask nicely--or at least share some beers. :-)

belated congrats... really belated, but nonetheless present. ;) how come it takes Kerry an average of 2.5 weeks to get a gong and for you to take so long... you didn't strike me as a slow learner... ;)

The final approval of the promotion list was delayed a bit, so it didn't become effective until 19 Oct 04. You're not too belated after all! Still, you have upset the beernazi, so no beers for you! And another thing, I'll thank you to never mention me and Kerry in the same sentence ever again! ;-) Displacedjim

Hoody hoo! I just got my 20 year letter, so now I am eligible for retirement any time. Of course I'm not going to retire until they make me, but it's nice to have that letter on file. I've still got seven more years before they can force me to stay away, and even then they're going to have to change the combos and confiscate my swipe badge to keep me out! :-) Displacedjim
