Subject: America's Peacenik Generals Clique and Their Maneuver To Change US Ground Forces Into peacekeeping

(1)Since Clinton's Bosnian debacle, a group of US generals has developed a program of castration for America's ground forces. Their objectives are both strange and well known. I will mention only two: (1) Mothballing of US heavy forces and replacing them with motorized armored cars (Stryker Brigades). (2) Continuous attempts of the same general's clique to degrade and then eliminate US Special Forces. What are some informed opinions of Leadership Discussion Board comrades?

Wrong on both accounts, and why do you have two #1s?
 
The Stryker brigades have actually made the Army heavier by for the most part replacing light brigades.  As far as SOF go, there is and will probably always be a SOF vs. conventional tension to a degree, but I've never heard ANY discussion of the elimination of SOF.
