I think that History Channel did a good job with their partly acted, partly documentary videos. For example, I was not aware of the brutality of the close combat in the streets of Iraqi towns. Mass media depicted it as if the battles were won with smart bombs, tanks and air strikes. In reality it was mostly man against man, often at very close close range.
