Subject: Goss Resigns
PowerPointRanger    5/5/2006 11:29:46 PM
Okay, Porter Goss resigned so suddenly it caught even the leakers by surprise. What's going on here? The media have been hinting at some unspecified scandal, but that sounds speculative to me.

We know this much, left-leaning CIA insiders have been working overtime to undermine the Bush administration with damaging, but often inaccurate leaks (e.g. Ambassador Joe Wilson goes to Nigeria and says Iraq was not trying to obtain yellowcake, which turned out to be untrue). Goss was working to weed out those insiders. It would seem they found something to use as leverage against him.

Interesting.

Anything have any theories?
