Subject: peactime operations: Honor Guards
Biil/CSMR    2/28/2002 9:46:27 AM
The honor guard situation in California is at best non functional. With the exception of one unit performing this very needed service in the southern California region. This is the (CSMR) Californisa State Military Reserve forces. These dedicated men perform hundreds of honor guard cerimonies every year. They are formed up through the CARNG and are commanded by an CSMR major. The CARNG decided that they were the best soldiers to perform these duties. Another good reason that any qualified person should look into joining their state guard/state defense units. You can meke a differance in someone's life.
