Here is a picture...

Might be useful for patrol duties in undeveloped areas or for recon but it is bigger and less economical than the dune buggy and does not carry anything that will out-range infantry weapons so I am not sure what to do with it. Also, a lot of its components seem to be exposed to rifle fire...

The Israeli army using it? Well, they might have a need to patrol border areas as well as providing a local manufacturer with a seal of approval and a little operational history. But I would not buy it.

Its a 4x4 MRAP, and as such can survive things that would reduce a dune buggy, and the passengers, to flying shrapnel.  Sure it is bigger and heavier, that’s the price you pay for the capabilities.

More exposed parts, sure, but not that many that are vulnerable to rifle fire.  Against heavier weapons the vulnerability is about equal.  The weakness, if it is one, is the lack of bumpers to protect the wheels from impact and for pushing.

From a mine resistant design point of view locating the wheels outside the area of the vehicle shell makes sense by improving the venting for blast and improved stability.

I guessed you liked it.

I would liked it more if it carried a bigger weapon. Something like a 20mm cannon.

This is pretty much off topics, but what do you think about unmanned tank ? Without crew compartment, it could be significantly smaller and all vital parts could be buried deep under the armor. The turret could be very low, and the whole vehicle, as well. All kinds of provisions for nuclear - biological - chemical warfare would not be necessary any more, and under water capability would be simpler to achieve.

There would be a problems with remote control because of obstacles, but those could still be solved, perhaps.

It would be even more difficult to destroy than 'real' tank.

Look at the picture again, and think of a blast frag mine. That vehicle is a JOKE.

I have seen video of prototypes of small skid steer robotic weapons... not quite as large as a tank. They look impressive until you start thinking how to use them. This one at least could be used for re-con and patrols.

I would like to add a couple of things...  It is speedy and could flee if it runs into something that is too much but it would be nice if it could carry a heavy weapon like an 20mm.

Let me explain. With a gun like that one and this thing weighting just 8 tons as it is it could be transported by helicopters or lighter types of air transport and give the soldiers that arrive with the initial echelons something we do not have right now. Specially for the Marines. If that gun adds another 800 Lbs or so to the weight so be it.

The Marines have a 20mm in their helicopters... could use the same technology from the helicopters to aim it, etc.

I just think that with a big gun it would be better.

I sort of thought it looks like a hummer meets Mad Max..  I'd like to see if it is really as blast resistant as claimed.  From the video, I wonder a bit about the hydraulic doors.. if the frame gets bent a bit.. could the crew exit the vehicle?

Dude, always with the bigger guns..
Maybe a Javelin launcher would make you happy.  Lighter than a 20mm and has the ability to turn an MBT into scrap.

The infantry can bring Javelins and TOWs with them and move them around in Humvees. But the 20mm with armour is something a Humvee will not handle. It would give infantry arriving to a beach direct fire that out-ranges rifles, etc. and at 8 tons or so it is very transportable by air, can cross bridges, etc. etc.. So it would be tempting not to bring one along on any infantry mission that was being moved by air.

In all fairness, I do not think there is a huge market for this. Like I said, it would be the initial echelons of Marines, etc. coming in so they do not arrive defenseless and then it could do re-con and certain types of patrols for them. But most of the rest of the Army will like to have as a vehicle something that can move a squad of men, have a rear hatch and do other things which this vehicle can't do or does not have.

If you are storming a beach, where the bad guys have a direct line of fire that out ranges the stuff the marines carry with them..  They are storming the wrong beach.

The most powerful weapon the infantry carry with them, is a radio. (my biased 2 cents)  If they were going to lug this thing around as a scout or support vehicle.. I'd prefer better commo and fire support gear.. rather than a bigger gun system.
