TrustButVerify    First strike?   8/24/2007 2:47:39 PM
The line about Greenpeace (et al) complaining that the missiles give France a "preemptive strike" capability make me shake my head. Do they have in mind a nuclear delivery system which doesn't? Of course, they're just making political hay, but it still annoys me. I'm equally annoyed that they don't seem to discern a difference between capabilities and intentions. Meanwhile, I have yet to see Greenpeace do more than raise a perfunctory eyebrow at Iran, or offer anything beyond a mild scolding to North Korea.

Good article, thanks for the link.
