I second the LGM-118; better CEP, and the US has a better track record with solid-fuel rocket motors. Reliability is pretty damned important in a strategic deterrent (if you ask me).

Plus, the Peacekeeper retains rail mobility. I like that. It's a shame the Air Force didn't deign to retain them, but I suppose Minuteman is good enough for all intents and purposes.
