actually your ridiculous-seeming post makes sense, because the only thing I find in my brain-lexicon when searching for non-lethal  or the way cooler  less-than-lethal phrase,  the only things I find is: Star Wars Episode IV, the firs 10 minutes, where princess Lea gets a kind of stun-shot from a storm-trooper and the other entery ir Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, where Sam is put out of action with some LTL Assault gun, that's it....weapons are all about killing ppl, right?

come on lads, use your noggin's... there are plaenty of non/less than lethal combat systems used. weapons such as tear gas grenade launchers count don't they? what about the arwen non lethal projectile gun... can fire an array of non-lethal munitions including crowd control gasses and rubber baton rounds (bloody hurt actually, had that welt for five weeks... don't ask). another could be the MGL (multiple grenade launcher) which is desinged for both lethal and less than lethal projectiles. and ofcourse theres the simple 12 bore bean bag rounds for any shotgun from a 870 to a spas 12.
after writing this i've realsied that it's all pending on what you mean by war. if it's just plain and simple war then it's likely that the above systems aren't going to be seen but in terms of unconventional warfare well that's a more likely application for these and the numerous other systems i can't remember the names of. hope this helps
