My bet is congress won't address the issue as its in someones congressional district and he sold his vote for assurances that the manufacturer who makes the aluninum magazines would get the army contract. Any one wanna bet?

Yeah, bet's on. The Congress critter who sold his vote to get the Army-issue mag manufactured in his district . . . the non-issue commercial manufacturers are in some other Congress critters' districts. But they won't address the issue 'cuz they think the war's over and it's not an issue anymore.
