Subject: Re-emergence of Russia

Russia begins patrols of he Artic and is the next resource king (agriculture too)-- Air defence also in place for CIS. Russia back ??

I would say Russia will be back, if not yet. They are investing massive amounts of money from oil revenues in their military and they certainly don't want to be left out of world affairs.
 
Russia was a superpower and want to be again, i wouldn't be surprised if they achieve that goal. My worry is the tension that's building between east and west again fuelled by the missile sheild the US is planning, the last thing the world needs is a new cold war or renewed arms race.

Russia to begin Cuba flybys, refueling only but thats a change. With current US-NATO weakness and resource rich Russia,
I bet the fun starts again. Oh another cold war!!!
