That website, being rabidly left-wing and in favour of keeping the world's poor in poverty by stifling world trade, has no credibility.

They are trying to make out that Ahmadinejad was simply calling for a change in Israeli government from Kadima to Labor or Likud. How naive. Even if you believe their translation it is still obviously referring to the removal of the Israelis from Jerusalem (which can only happen by extreme and violent force) and their replacement by an Islamic "rezhim-e" (and if you know what Ahmadinejad stands for you'll know that regime won't tolerate Israel being populated by Jewish people).

Cheers.

What a joke....might as well post a link to al-jazeera and pawn it off as a legitimate link. Not only was the man on television saying these words "wipe is Israel....out" but he has said it numerous times afterwards. What scares me is why would one try and clear a man who has pronounced genocidal rhetoric against a people has quite the history of such events. This link is what RATIONAL people call propoganda.

You can dress a pig in pearls, but it still stinks -  this website is an Israeli conspiracy-theorist's wetdream of looney lefties, Jew-haters, PALI and PALI apologists, etc etc ad nauseum.

Will enjoy watching this latest example of intellectual deformity - a la the Iranian hairy Jew-hating dwarf - implode on these boards. I'm surprised he didnt mention Rense.com as one of his authoritative sources. His alleged "proof" of what the dwarf said in Farsi is making the rounds of the Daily Kos, Democratic Underground, The Nation, and all the other anti-Israel, anti-Jewish muffins out there. Of course, he leaves out all the other things His Malignancy has stated as well.

It is very obvious mate that alot of people do not understand or care to understand the world around them.  Everytime someone says anthing about the Zionist regime in Israel they are automatically Anti-semitic,etc.  Now, I do not agree with Mr. Ahmanidejad on his views and the wesite is no doubt leftist.  With that said, facts or facts and in this case he said what he said and it was misinterpreted.  Also, why can't Israelies and jews in general live alongside muslims in peace?  Why do you think that the only way is to remove all Israelies/jews from Israel.  What if they were a more sensible and just government that could achieve piece with all of Israeli's neighbors.  If more people would simply read, they would find out that the Zionist regime is a backwards, oppressive regime that is not much different from other regimes in the region.  However, the difference is that we (America) support them (financially and militarily) to our own detriment.  I for one do not want my tax dollars going toward that regime;same way I wouldn't want to finance other corrupt regime in that area.  In conclusion, I do not know the mind of Ahmadinejad but I am a fluent Farsi speaker and I will tell you that what he said was misquoted.  Anything outside of that is pure speculation.  In the end, I hope that the American people realize that we need to be better at deciphering information for ourselves and not just regurgitate what has been fed down our throats.

Why can't the Jews and the Arabs live beside each other in peace?

You might want to try asking the Arabs.

They don't exactly have a track record of peaceable accomodation.

From LittleGreenFootballs:

Congratulations, Anthrognosis. You are the first on these boards to receive the following memo. Please actually read it, you might even learn something:

MEMO

This is an automated reply from the Bullshit Detector at Little Green Footballs.
Your recent post contained troll-like characteristics which resembles the type of message sent by spoiled ISM members on summer holiday, college students who have recently inhaled Noam Chomsky?s foul rantings, Adam Shapiro wannabes, Nazi sympathizers, or genuine Koranimals.

In order to prevent another thread being hijacked, and to send your message to the appropriate department for response (FOAD, GAZE, Go Away Gordon, or The Bus To Rachel Corrie?s Tomb Is Leaving - Be Sure You?re Under It), kindly reply to the following questions:

1. Are you aware that the Disputed Territories never belonged to the ?Palestinians? and only came into Israeli possession as a result of the 1967 six day war in which Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon all massed forces at Israel?s border in order to ?push the Jews into the sea?. The Arabs lost and Israel took control of the land. Do you agree that if the Koranimals don?t want to lose territory to Israel, then they shouldn?t start wars? Do you agree that there is justice that Israel, who as far back as 1948 has always sought peace with her far larger neighbors, should live in prosperity - making the desert bloom - while the residents of 19 adjacent Arab countries who are blessed with far more land as well as oil wealth live in their own feces?

2. Did you know that the ?Palestinians? could have had their own country as far back as 1948 had they accepted the UN sponsored partition plan which gave Israel AND the Palestinians a countries of their own on land which Jews had lived on for thousands of years before Mohammed ever had a wet dream about virgins? The Arabs rejected the UN offer and went to war with the infant Israeli nation. The Arabs lost and have been whining about it ever since. Do you agree this is like a murderer who kills his parents and asks for special treatment since he is now an orphan?

3. Can you tell us ANY Arab country which offers Jews the right to be citizens, vote, own property, businesses, be a part of the government or have ANY of the rights which Israeli Arabs enjoy? Any Arab country which gives those rights to Christians? How about to other Arabs? Wouldn?t you just LOVE to be a citizen of Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Iran, or Syria?

4. Since as many Jews (approximately 850,000) were kicked out of Arab countries as were Arabs who left present day Israel (despite being literally begged to stay), why should Arabs be permitted to return to Israel if Jews aren?t allowed to set foot in Arab countries? Can you explain why Arabs can worship freely in Israel but Jews would certainly be hung from street lamps after having their intestines devoured by an Arab mob if they so much as entered an Arab country?

5. Israel resettled and absorbed all of the Jews from Arab countries who wished to become Israelis. Why haven?t any Arab countries offered to resettle Arabs who were displaced from Israel, leaving them to rot for 60 years in squalid refugee camps? And why are those refugee camps still there? Could it be that the billions of dollars that the UNWRA has sent there goes to terrorist groups like Hamas, Islamic Jihad, El Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, or Hezbollah? How did Yassir Arafat achieve his $300 million in wealth? Why aren?t these funds distributed for humanitarian use?

6. Did you know that the Arabs in the disputed territories (conquered by Israel in the 1967 war which was started by Arabs) and who are not Israelis already have two countries right now? And that they are called Egypt and Jordan?

7. If your complaint is about the security fence which Israel is finally building in the Disputed Territories, are you aware that it is built solely to keep the ?brave? Arab terrorists out so that they can no longer self detonate on busses, in dining halls or pizzerias and kill Jewish grandmothers and schoolchildren? Why are the Arabs so brave when they target unarmed civilians but even when they outnumber their opponents they get their sandy asses kicked all the way to Mecca when they are faced with Jewish soldiers? Why do Arab soldiers make the French look like super heroes?

8. Please explain why you are so concerned about Arabs, who possess 99% of the land in this region and are in control of the world?s greatest natural resource, which literally flows out of the ground? Can?t their brother muslims offer some of the surplus land and nature?s riches to the ?Palestinians?? Or is it true that Arabs are willing to die right down to the last ?Palestinian??

9. Why do you not exhibit the same level of concern for say, people in Saudi Arabia who are beheaded, subject to amputation, stoning, honor killing etc.? What about women who are denied any semblance of basic civil rights, including the right not to be treated as property for the entertainment and abuse of her father, brothers, or husbands? What about the Muslims in Sudan and Egypt who are still enslaved, or the women there whose genitalia are barbarically cut off? How about the oppression of Shiites by Sunnis, the gassing of the Kurds by Iraq, or the massacre of ?Palestinians? by Jordan (Black September)? Why doesn?t this concern you?

10. Did you ever stop to wonder how much better off everyone in the region would be if Arabs stopped trying to kill Jews and destroy Israel? What would happen if the Israelis gave up their weapons and disarmed? Would they live to see the next day? But what would happen if the Arabs completely disarmed? You know the answer: They would all be AT PEACE! And if there is no war to rile them up, the Arabs would be forced to look at their own repressive, pre-medieval societies. Why would they want to do that when there are Jews to kill?

11. Have you heard ?People who define themselves primarily by what they hate, rather than who they love, are doomed to failure and misery?? Can you see the parallels to the Arabs, who are blessed with land and oil, but still gladly train their children to kill themselves in order to kill Jews? Have you heard Golda Meir?s words to the effect of ?There will be peace when the Arabs love their children more than they hate ours?? Why do the Arabs hate so much?

Anthrognosis    Response to Angry Bull! [COMMENTS ADDED BY THE SYSOPS COLLECTIVE, WINSTON SMITH HISTORICAL SECTION]   1/31/2007 10:15:17 AM
Hello [Perjorative deleted by The SysOps Collective] angry Bull

Before you continue with your right wing AIPAC loving, War Mongering, Ethnocentric, Racist, and in general ignorant point of view [Comment by The Collective - please tell us how you really feel - nothing like your basic ad hominem attack to denigrate your argument to start our day off right - DANGER, WILL ROBINSON, and a WARNING from the COLLECTIVE that this WILL NOT BE TOLERATED], let me try to educate you a little (A word of Caution:  it requires an open mind [FROM THE COLLECTIVE - YES - we see by your opening remarks how open-minded you are], so please put down your guns and your Bible and try to follow me)

How would you feel [perjorative deleted by SysOps]if all of a sudden you were told you had to pack up and leave your country [SysOps Comment - asked to leave by their brethren Arabs, who asked them to leave and to return after the slaughter of the Jews is what we gather he meant to say], home because the United Nations decided that since the Native Americans were here thousands of years ago [SYSOPS Comment - Yes, please tell that to the inhabitants of the Byzantine Empire who were purged from their lands in the Levant and the Egyptian land by Arab invaders, following the battle of Yarmuk in 636], it is their right to take back the land, eventhough Americans have lived here for the last few hundred years [what about the Byzantine Empire's inhabitants rights?].  With that said, it is now too late and only thing that can be done is to bring about peace.  Noone is saying that Jews must leave Israel and give it back to Arabs [SysOps comment again - we suggest the writer read all of the Manifestos of Hamas, Hizbolah, Islamic Jihad, Fatah, the PLO Charter, etc. then], rather lets live together free from oppression and racism.  Also the use of "Koranimal" in your writing depicts your [perjorative deleted by Sysops].

Any Arab country which gives those rights to Christians? How about to other Arabs? Wouldn?t you just LOVE to be a citizen of Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Iran, or Syria?

As  a matter of fact yes.  Jordan and pre-bombardment Lebanon would be good examples, however for the most part Arab/Islamic countries are not tolerant of other views contrary to the teaching in the Koran.  As far as Israeli Arabs having rights, please don't make me laugh.  Also, FYI, Iran is not an Arab country (I know this is probably shocking for you, but you can look it up in the dictionary)[Comment by the SysOps Collective - we are shocked, shocked! to know that, as we are sure most of the readers here on these boards are, especially those who have been writing here for years. Please save the lectures for children.]  Saudi Arabia is another corrupt country that happens to be our ally because of oil (what a shocker)

4. Can you explain why Arabs can worship freely in Israel but Jews would certainly be hung from street lamps after having their intestines devoured by an Arab mob if they so much as entered an Arab country?

I don't think any Israeli Jew would want to go to any Arab country.  FYI, most of Israeli Jews are great peace loving people who like the rest of us want to live in peace and prosper.  However, their Zionist government is what contributing to all this violence.  All for a few hundred/thousand square kilometers.

How did Yassir Arafat achieve his $300 million in wealth? Why aren?t these funds distributed for humanitarian use?

Are we talking about the same Israeli Arabs that cannot get to work and their home because of  Israel closing down roads and checkpoints leading to Jerusalem?  Also, Corruption is everywhere, and Yassir Arafat is no exception.  We are surely missing Isaac Rabin (God rest his soul)[Comments by The Collective - we weren't aware that anyone referred to YITZHAK Rabin as anything other than plain lil ole 'YITZHAK', even in the English language. That is news to us, so we are indeed shocked at your use of the 'Isaac' moniker.] .

6. Did you know that the Arabs in the disputed territories (conquered by Israel in the 1967 war which was started by Arabs) and who are not Israelis already have two countries right now? And that they are called Egypt and Jordan?

Oh Bull, last time I checked Egypt has been around a lot longer than Israel ever was.  As a matter of fact if you read your Bible it will tell you that Israelites were once slaves in Egypt and came back to settle in what is now known as Israel.[SysOps Collective comment - a master of the obvious he is to our regular posters.]   Also, just because these two countries, and also lebanon absorbed a lot of the refugees it doesn't make it right.  Going back to my earlier comment, it is like saying Americans can go to Canada since we share the same ideals and let Native Americans take over.  It doesn't work that way.  I am sure that the Palestanians identify themselves more as being Palestanians that Arabs.

[Again, comments deleted by Sysops] All those things you mentioned are true and appaling.  I never said that I am not concerned about those things.  Is it not interesting that we are allies with alot of those countries that practice such barbarism? I wonder why that is?  Could it be Oil? hmmmm.  Also, two wrongs don't make a right.  As long as we follow this tit for tat ideal, we will never solve this dillema.

I just love this statement:
"However, their Zionist government is what contributing to all this violence. "

Maybe (probably...) I've missed something my last 50+ years, but I don't really recall the Israeli's ever attacking without being attacked - or about to be attacked (as in 1967) - since the creation of Israel. Virtually all attacks by Israel in nearly 40 years have been in response to Arab agression.  Its interesting to note that groups like Hamas still seek the total annihilation of Israel, and continually seek the weapons to do so. Israel says no such thing about the Palestineans and yet have the power to do so.
