What started as a contact between two friends, you have just turned into an idiot's thread.
Why did you have to do that?
If you don't agree with Shirrush, say you don't agree, and state why..
He is NOT a cretin. He doesn't lie. He is not an incompetent presenter of fact. He is not a magical thinker. He is not a bigot and he is most definitely not a fool.
So what is YOUR problem with him?
You don't like what he has to say about US policy? Why?
You think he should be grateful for US support? Why?
You think he should give up his Israeli viewpoint on the world? Why?
.
Why should he be held to a different standard than say someone from India? Why?
And why should you be upset, if he criticizes particular US policies, which he thinks threatens his nation's survival? Why?
Do you see ME upset?
Read around. If there is someone who has a short fuse when it comes to cretins, I'm the guy.
So what has Shirrush done or said that justifies this vituperation on your part?
You've shown up on my radar here and attracted my interest.
So I ask these questions.
I'm curious as to your answers.
Herald
Shirrush made very insulting comments regarding the US.
I did state why.
Shirrush stated that US is not an ally to be trusted and listed others who had put their faith in the US only to be dissapointed..(his view).
I don't care about your radar or your interest.
I've read previous comments by you and this one seems like a 180 degree change of course. What are you a mole?
Are you an American?

I wonder how many more will tune in? 200 or so when it drops off the radar?
Herald
I for one am tuning in Herald. I tried to reply to Shirush' comment but something is wrong with that thread so I came here. I'm sure he will pick up on it though.
Shirush...you are typically arrogant and a hand -biter of the first order.
Israel would not even be an entity if the US had not supplied it, in its war against Egypt...and kept it supplied ever since. I would like to send your thread to all the American newspapers.
You are the worst example of an Israeli, or a Jew, whatever you are and a detriment to Israel with your
acerbic
remarks and ingratitude.
What could you possibly hope to gain by making irresponsible statements about the US, other than less support and a growing animosity?
Has Israel been a good experience, in any form, for the US? You have sent at least one spy who was captured and it was the Rosenburgs who were caught selling nuclear secrets to the Russians and since 911 over 60 Israelis in the US have been investigated for spying ( go to Yahoo..enter "Israeli spies in the US) and may even have had previuos information about 911 and withheld it.
Please stuff your disdain of the US and your long suffering BS. I hope we totally disencumber ourselves with Israel because it would be cheaper, we would have fewer enemies and more friends and our kids could stop fighting their wars.
Israel talks the good fight...better pilots, better tanks, better electronics, better intelligence...hey...you don't need us, go it alone.
A petulant description motivated by a Juvenile patriotism that would have Israel relegated to sycophant, vassal, and a lower assistant to US foreign policy.
USA does not provide aid (much that goes back into US economy) b/c it feels a sense of compassion for Israel. It provides Israel with the tools in order for it to stabilize a very tough neighborhood, and up until a few years ago Israel did an amazing job of keeping the region somewhat out of chaos.
I'm not going to go into what Israel returns to the US for its alliance, it would be degrading b/c it is all too obvious for anyone who wishes to inform themselves on the subject, which you haven't done as is clearly demonstrated by your caustic analysis of Israel-US relations when an Israeli shares an honest perspective when it comes to his nations position vis a vis its most important strategic alliance.
If the US, as you speak of it, now only seeks groveling allies that will be its yes man, lacking imagination, principles and is led by events rather then the other way around, surely bodes poorly for the US more then its partners. But I don't think that's it I think it is not about US alliances in general, but Israel in particular for you Eagle, as Sherry Blair once remarked at a dinner party describing Israel with irritation "oh that shitty little country," it is this small little country of Jews that irks you which you won't accept any grumblings from, as if it was a poor ungrateful little oliver twist....it's time you realize that this small little country is on the front-lines of an ominous, encompassing conflict with islamo-facism. Either you hook it up with everything it needs or retreat and let it find other recourse, but don't diminish what is at stake, by turning it into an affront b/c your friend is not acting pleasantly, and disagrees with decisions that directly effect its national security interests.
Israel won the '48 war without the US, it won in '56 without the stars and stripes, and it won for a 3rd time in '67 without US backing. It was only in '68 that LBJ and Eshkol formed the alliance we now have today. The

Just read between his lines, Herald, that says it all. Short fuse, perhaps a short tenure as well.

Why a short tenure? Because I disagree with what Shirrush stated? He badmouthed the US. He can have his opinion, I can have mine.
I tried to respond to Ezekiel also but the "quote" did not work...just so he knows...and Herald, I did respond to but I don't know why. He would be better off writing childrens books.

State them to me, and be specific.

Shirrush made very insulting comments regarding the US.
I did state why.
State them and refute. Don't just assert.
Shirrush stated that US is not an ally to be trusted and listed others who had put their faith in the US only to be dissapointed..(his view).
State his specific charges and refute. Don't just assert.
I don't care about your radar or your interest.
You do not determine that. I do.
I've read previous comments by you and this one seems like a 180 degree change of course. What are you a mole?
In what way? You made an assertion which is semantically meaningless. If you have a charge be specific. What evidence do you have?
Are you an American?
Yes. Are you a cretin? I have mounting considerable evidence [CREF immediately above] in front of me, that you probably are..
As I expected, I'm dealing with someone who cannot separate emotional bias from measured objectivity.
Hint: if you have a bias or specific outlook, you'd do well to argue on fact instead of assert and accuse.
I HATE PRC bandits. I tell you objectively why I hate PRC bandits.
I dislike bandits of any stripe. I tell you why exactly why I dislike bandits.
I have no use for cretins. I tell you exactly why I have no use for cretins.
1. They assert, accuse, or lie with broad statements and never go directly on point with concrete example or argue evidence.
2. While I admit that everyone has bias, and that everyone is allowed bias, those who are not cretins admit their bias up front and factor it into their discussion of FACT; marshaling fact to support their conclusions.
Example You:
Shirrush made anti-American statements. I don't like that.
Who the hell cares what you like?
I think I remember that Shirrush was upset with the latest peace offensive launched by the Bush Administration and that he said so; and said WHY, [another effort by outsiders to con Israelis to trade land for peace in negotiations withn bandits that hasn't worked in the past and won't work now; he suggested.]. I think, absent you telling me exactly what statements Shirrush made that corkscrewed your brain into a knot, that this might be something Shirrush stated, that upset you?
Know something, cretin? Shirrush has a point here! He made a suggestion about the US penchant to abandon allies and the actual history of the Republic of South Vietnam? On point to the discussion, he raised a provable fact he cited: that is Shirrush's marshaled evidence referring back to his stated point of objection. See the difference between the two of you, cretin? I doubt it.
I, instead, would have used IRAN and Mossadegh as the example to make EXACTLY the SAME point about US policy.
I don't let my Americanism cloud my factual objectivity, cretin. Americans have been bandits. We can't correct our mistakes; if we don't admit the mistakes we make.
Example Me;
Shirrush and I have a discussion ongoing about the Jericho rocket.
Shirrush stated disbelief in the possibility that Israel has an IRBM missile farm to the sout
