Subject: Solutions to the rocket attacks from Gaza

I have my own, its a bit radical but it would certainly work. What are some other possible choices? The solution I have come up with is to basically depopulate Gaza and make it part of Israel proper. Now I have no Idea how to get 1.5 million people out of a certain area but I'm sure it could be done. I realize their would be some resistance on the part of the Palestinians and especially Hezbollah, but I'm also sure that resistance could be dealt with as well as the fact that this depopulation would guarantee the security of Israeli citizens living near Gaza, at least in terms of the rocket attacks.

I know it would only be a temporary solution, but why don't they wander around the Sinai for forty years or so? They could all follow 4 mullahs carrying a box supported by two rods with sacred scriptures in it.Oh wait, that's been done...

I have no idea how to make anti-gravity shields and intergalactic spacecraft but I'm sure it could be done.  That makes about as much sense as Phalanx;s statement that he has no idea how to depopulate Gaza but he is sure it could be done.
 
It didn't occur to him thatthe problem is not that they are firing rockets from Gaza, it is that they are firing rockets. Put them somewhere else, and they will readjust the range of the rockets and off they go

1000 troublemakers , per freighter  1500  freighter loads at $10,000,000 per trip.

Charge $1,000 for the exit visa per troublemaker to recoup the treasury relocation costs.....

Take about two years to deport the lot assuming 1500 trips  using 32  freighters a month. .

This is about the magnitude of the task you face.

That is where I would put persistent Human troublemakers along with the other long term half-life problems.

Why do I need to move six million civilized people?

The people in question seem to handle their own problems well enough by themselves. My interference [help?] would be resented and not appreciated-especially as it is totally unnecessary.

By the way I hope you understand that this is a pure Jack Benny  type discussion?
