Giver a slow and unmaneuverable but long range and very stealthy platform with a very powerfull avionics suite and payload OR a faster, more maneuverable but less stealthy, less powerfull avionics plane with fewer weapons, Like the F/A-22. Which would you choose?

It all depends on who I'm likely to go to war against. It's their current and projected capability and IADS that determines what goes into the line up.

Are you thinking about an A2A B-2 or something?

Stealth is a nice thing to have, but every technological edge eventually results in a counter tactic or technology so I'd rather have a kickass airframe that can pull 9 Gs, flies through stall (high AoA) performance, accelerates like a bat out of hell (high Thrust to Weight). To stay meaningful, I suppose it should have Strike Fighter type weapons carriage, but not at expense of maneuvering. BTW, F/A-22 isn't a good reference for latter case as it presupposes stealth. How about Su-30 or upgraded F-15 (EASA, AIM-9X, JHMCS, Link 16 like the Elmendorf Eagles). Then it boils down to mano e mano skill in worst case scenario. If stealth cloak is removed, aircraft like F-117 are meat on the table to even a mediocre fighter/interceptor or SAM (like in Kosovo). Just my preference.

It all depends on who I'm likely to go to war against. And on the mission profile. Generically speaking, I'll take the first choice for air-to-ground and the second choice for air-to-air.
