Subject: humvee mod to fire XM360

hey folks,

Can we modify the humvee to carry and fire an XM360 as a airborne/air assault tank destroyer/gun. The XM360 weighs in at 4100 lbs last word I have. The XM360 is the FCS dirrect fire cannon which also will be able to fire in extended range with GPS rumored range is 12km in gun mode!!!

Is 4,100 lbs (1863kg) the cannon weight, or does that include the entire mount as well?  Either way the Hummers dont sound like a stable platform, and there would be a 'strain' on the drive train and suspension.

The humvee can take a load of 1900+ kg and a new version  is coming with over 2000kg capability. I would add a open turrent with hydraulic feet to absorb the shock of firing in any dirrection.
