Subject: Book report

Im writing a book report on the evolution of attack submarines, focusing on three american sub classes, I'm ending with the Seawolves, but dooes anyone have ideas for the other two. I need them about evenly spaced chronologically, so I cant use a balao then the 6881's then the seawolf.

So anyone got an idea?

I'd do Skipjack, LA, then Seawolf or, newer still, Virginia.

If any, how about the Gatos from WWII (formed the basis of the most numerous US attack boat), and Nautilus (world's first nuke boat).
