Anyone who emphasizes the President's middle name is flat-out a racist, whether they have the courage and honesty to admit it to themselves or not.

 

One final thought:  I watched the end of game 1 between the Miami Heat and the OK City Thunder.  Seems like every person in OKC (90% white) was on their feet applauding the (90% black) team.  Yet how many of those same people are frothing-at-the-mouth, bat-guano crazy GOPpers, Birthers, and Husseiners?

HeavyD, that kind of phony racist charged worked in 2008 to shut people up so that people were afraid to even mention Obama's middle name.  That bullshit doesn't work any more.  Fewer and fewer paople are buying that desperate faux guilt trip. Obama's middle name is Hussein. His whole family in Kenya are Muslims. He attended a madrassah for years in Indonesia. He and his friend "Reverend"Jim Wright ostensibly converted to Christianity from "the Religion of Pieces" together some years ago.

 

While the MSM sent 49 "journalists" up to Alaska to try to find dirt on Sarah Palin,the MSM studiously avoided investigating Obama's background and presenting the facts to the American people.

 

BTW, do you include Hussein Obama's paternal grandmother in the "birther" crowd, as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlFc4wCpvSo">she's stated in a taped interv... that she was present at Hussein Obama's birth in Kenya.  Is Hussein Obama's grandmother also a lunatic then???

Also, he could be born in Washington DC of two Caucasian Episcopalian albinos with a thousand witnesses and a videotape, and still be the worst, not just the worst President, worst head of a government ever. 

 

This guy is not from Kenya. 

 

As far as identifying with, caring for/about, and "getting" America, he is from Mars.

The race issue is actually boring above all else, there's a dozen factors, cultural, ideological, etc that determine his current "outlook", he certainly did ride a wave of euphoria as middle-class america declared itself post-racial, assuaged some guilt and got caught up in a genuinely historic moment to the extent that yes, there wasn't enough hard analysis done in terms of his recent record (far more important than his origins imo) as a 'community organiser', and to sum it up, his leadership credentials were far from perfect. 

 

I think to reduce any of these questions to simplistic notions of is intellectually lazy. He has previously made certain gestures that indicate a degree of animosity towards the UK (notably the return of Churchill's bust but also various foreign policy decisions) it has been asserted this is due to his Kenyan heritage but it could also, for example, be a result of his limited geopolitical understanding and desire to court Asia and South American states that he believes are more relevant to the US going forwards..   

 

What is relevant (but not to this thread particularly) is his record, a big-spending president with what seems like limited economic insight - thus he is led by the nose, as it were, by the QE-addicts. The stimuli are a case of diminishing returns, with the economic reality soon to become apparent to all.

In Hogkiller's comment, he didn't emphasize the President's name, he just stated his full name. No emphasis given to the middle name. Just pointing that out.

 

Oh crap, I think I just defended an Obama critic...does that mean that I'm a racist now too??
