I am sure most people assume that Europe's economic system is worthy but hasn't post-war Western Europe been critically dependent on access to the world's most robust consumer economy, that of the US. And hasn't that relationship given the appearance of Europe's economy a luster it would not have otherwise had?
One reason Russia may not be afraid to seek the dependence of Europe upon itself may be that it not only sees this relationship between Europe and the US but sees it in the past tense. Discerning a habit of dependence on the part of Europe it is ambitious of capturing this dependence for itself now that the US economy has changed post-2008.
While Tunisia may benefit relatively from emulating Europe, it might benefit more from a truly classical liberalized system as opposed to a Western system.
We would of course benefit from a classical liberal economic system as well. But one caveat might be that for such a system to be sustainable, the population sustaining it must be guided by principles taught from the Bible.
This would present problems for Muslim countries. God can make it work nevertheless though if He so wills. So it would be up to Him.
