My Spanish is really poor so I thought Sr. Karam's "Ya me cause" translated to "What Me Worry?"

This terrible event follows an estimated 125,000 other deaths in the Drug Wars in Mexico.  These events are totally ignored here in Washington State where the ACLU and other liberal elements are celebrating the opening of "legal" Marijuana stores. Never mind that Federal Law including the Anti Money Laundering (AML) make it a cash business which attracts all manner of vultures.

It would seem that Mexico has its own version of ISIS operating.

Banzaibutch    Just returned from Guerrero    11/12/2014 2:03:07 PM
I just returned from Guerrero, and literally heard the news conference referenced above on the radio while driving outside of Zihuatenjo on Friday. Your characterization of the Mexican Atty. Gen.'s comments and the way he ended the news conference, is extremely accurate. I do take strong issue however, with your implication that somehow the drug war in Mexico and The problems and Guerrero in particular, has anything to do with "left" or "right" wing politics- at least as far as the understanding of those terms in United States is concerned. To characterize the PRD as "left-wing" imposes United States values on the Mexican political system which are simply not accurate. The PRD is in fact the party the establishment to include the corporate establishment- hence (as you probably know) the hapless victims of this heinous crime in Guerrero were leftist/socialist protestors, objecting to the PRD's political elite's corruption by corporations and drug syndicates. And in Mexico the corrupt political elites include right-wing politicians also. To imply that this is a liberal/conservative issue of any kind is inaccurate, and pandering to your right-leaning USA audience. Having said that, I applaud your detailed coverage- which aside from the characterizations I just noted- is far more accurate than most news outlets in the United States.

The only difference between the crony capitalists in the United States and the crony capitalists of Mexico is the level of violence in Mexico. The abysmal stupidity of the electorate in the United States is do to a left leaning politically correct press and compounded by the requirement of Legislatures to constantly be raising money to fund their next political campaign.

Cutting the size and wealth of government is the remedy for all of the fund raising.

Also IMHO, we need to get government out of the education business so that voters we don't have new voters who have been dumbed down by an education establishment populated by government employees in whose interest it is to indoctrinate rather than educate.

IMHO, the political establishment itself is primarily responsible for the need to raise money. Congress and the federal government have arrogated far more power to themselves than is healthy for a republic. Having all this power is power to hurt citizens' interests which leads to a shakedown protection racket regime run by politicos to extort money out of citizens who could be hurt by government power.

"Critics throughout see the Abarca-Pineda duo's involvement as prima facie evidence of the political class' disdain for the rule of law. For many Mexicans, Pena's own Institutional Revolutionary Party is a synonym for corruption and disdain. "

BTW, does any of this sound familiar to Norte Americanos? From Columbia S.A. to Stalin's USSR leftists have always had a predisposition to work with and through criminals. Birds of a feather , I suppose.

Our leftists are surely no exception. The main stumbling block barring such a partnership for USA leftists is the Second Amendment.

Remember that the next time you hear leftists, false flag self-claimed gun owners included, argue for "reasonable" restrictions on personal arms.
