A better comparison is the Delta force and the SAS because the SAS and Delta have the same specialty's. Delta's training is by far the hardest the best the most expensive and i mean of millions of dollars each troop. They are also the most classified branch because of the high tec weaponary that we don't know about at all. When they say a gun tested well they mean it tested well with Delta force. For example when the Hk416 came they gave them the gun when it was just a small rumor. They are the most technologically advanced units and the most well equipped and the most high tech/support and the most advanced delivery systems and the most well thought out plans and the most difficult missions and the most classified missions with the exception of black hawk down. So Delta force off topic but between the navy seals and the sas i choose SAS because they are little more trained. But post a topic on DF VS SAS. 

Since SEALS have the toughest military training in the world, it follows logically that they are tougher than SAS. I wonder how many people here really know what it means to be a SEAL. Man to man, a Navy SEAL would totally destroy an SAS. There is NO comparison. I think the opinions on this subject are rooted in bias and / or ignorance. What I have stated is fact.

This thread is uber-retarded.  At the higher levels of SOF, you're arguing over tiny differences and training specialties.  Some units, such as the British Royal Marines, emphasize endurance and huge rucksack forced marches.  Others spend their time practicing AIE, etc.  After a point, you're just arguing over whether penis length needs to be measured from the top of the shaft or from the taint up.  Combat effectiveness doesn't always come down to who did the most push-ups (or for our UK friends, press-ups) in the surf.  The level of training is already so high in most of these units, the differences in capability usually come down more to the type of resources and support given the units than the capability of the operators themselves.  In that analysis, the US SOF units will come out on top, if only because of the support they are given, e.g. TF160 air, 24/7/365 national asset intel, etc.  There are only so many miles a man can run or bullets a man can shoot in a day.   http://strategypage.com/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Load.ashx?type=style&file=SyntaxHighlighter.css);" target="_blank">link

The SAS were featured in the latest Rambo movie. Those guys were dweebs! Rambo could have wooped anyone one of them. Some guy with an English accent? lol How anyone could take guys with an English accent seriously, I don't know. The SEALS are the best and toughest. This is not something I believe. It is something I know. Anything contrary to this fact is possibly based on British propaganda, lies, exagerations or ignorance. It was the SEALS who took out Bin Laden.
