Most people prefer not to die...it's kind of ruins the experience

Yeah, I can see how that would sort of make you rethink your career choice.

krlmcommando, I'll give you some advice as well. Don't join the infantry. Join the RAF. Get yourself some good food, save up, buy a place, and learn a valuable trade for the civilian world. The infantry will lose it's glamor after a couple of years....

If he is in this thing for personal glory and bad assedness, then it will get old extremely fast I'd say (as in, the first day in unit).  He seems around my age, maybe younger. He just needs personal life experience and he will grow up. Or not.

Cheers.i now have my career planed oot.lol

No, no, no. Do more research. Never stop researching things, talking to people in the know, and learning. 100 posts in 5 minutes on strategypage may be a record, but it won't or shouldn't allow you to have your career all planned out. Find out what you really want to do, and go for it. Don't be upset if things change, things get in the way, etc. If you have read any of my posts, then you know my situation changes often, but that's just the way it is. Don't be afraid to ask more questions here, but stop starting all the thread bro. Just calm down on that, find out what you want to ask, and put it all into a single thread if you have more than one question. These guys are extremely chill and very helpful, so don't be afraid to ask. Use their knowledge to your advantage. If you haven't noticed, I ask a ton of questions, but these guys are always respectful and very helpful.

well it comes down to a choice between a compacted spine from jumping out of airplanes or arthritis from spending so much time in and around cold salt water.  either side will ruin your knees with all that running about shlepping a huge ruck.
