Subject: The battles of Midway and Guadalcanal
yeti992    3/5/2005 3:48:41 PM
I'm a post graduate student and have to write a 3000 word essay on the battles of Midway and Guadalcanal. I was wondering if anyone could suggest any books that I could use in this essay?

You might check out - (The Modern Library) "Guadalcanal Diary" by Richard Tregaskis. The Navy, Marines and Army were all involved with the Guadalcanal theatre campaign. You might check out official histories of the services for both battles.
