According to the fanboys:

Rafale is low-observable because of its jamming capabilities,

Proof that a powerful radar isn't necessary any more,

The best BVR platform ever developed perhaps short of the F-22,

The best Strike aircraft ever developed,

Aerodynamically optimised and perfect for every altitude band,

As or more survivable than several VLO platforms.

That SPECTRA was an active cancellation suite capable of defeating AESA arrays.

That the large refuelling probe didn't reflect radar as it was RAM coated : )

That Rafale's frontal RCS would be comparable to that of the F-35.

I don't mean this in the wrong way BW but you might find this interesting:

Parts relevant to you: (a)

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled people make poor decisions and reach erroneous conclusions, but their incompetence denies them the metacognitive ability to recognize their mistakes. The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their ability as above average, much higher than it actually is, while the highly skilled underrate their own abilities, suffering from illusory inferiority.

Parts relevant to many of those who debate with you: (b)

Actual competence may weaken self-confidence, as competent individuals may falsely assume that others have an equivalent understanding. As Kruger and Dunning conclude, "the miscalibration of the incompetent stems from an error about the self, whereas the miscalibration of the highly competent stems from an error about others" The effect is about paradoxical defects in cognitive ability, both in oneself and as one compares oneself to others.

I certainly don't place myself in the category of an expert by a long shot, but you actually feel capable of arguing with professionals about things you only have a very basic grasp of, read (a) three times and tell me it doesn't apply to you.

According to the fanboys:

LO yes VLO no. Noone stated it was a atealth aircraft did I?

Proof that a powerful radar isn't necessary any more,

Again no i just pointed out an argument some ppl use : what's the use of a radar range twice longer then your best missile range? Please note i also said it is at best debatable , peros the longer the radar range the best, if you dont want it you switch it of or downsize its power.

The best BVR platform ever developed perhaps short of the F-22,

Noone said that we said its a good BVR platform one and on (or near on ) par to F22 WVR

The best Strike aircraft ever developed,

Probably, which one do you see on par atm?

Aerodynamically optimised and perfect for every altitude band,
Noone said perfect, certainly not me

As or more survivable than several VLO platforms.

Several VLO platform? Cite me one operational apart from F22? (when it flies)

That SPECTRA was an active cancellation suite capable of defeating AESA arrays.

I didnt say that noone has real clues about SPECTRA having or not active cancellation capabilities. If it has it could be very effective vs missiles, with only little effect on LPIs

That the large refuelling probe didn't reflect radar as it was RAM coated : )

It's not only RAM coated, it is also 45° angled . There are several discretion features on Rafle (including air intakes postitions, bunch of serrated edges etc. If retractable probe had been a big issue it wouldnt have been  a big prob to build one.

That Rafale's frontal RCS would be comparable to that of the F-35.

Noone said so. Under other angles, its debatable

I don't mean this in the wrong way BW but you might find this interesting:

I found the max sustainable core temp of the M88-2 ECO :

"The technologies developed are, among others, thermal barriers in monocrystalline blades to withstand temperatures of 2100 ° C" ) .

Any source for this? I'm aware that Snecma has been working on a turbine which can sustain up to 2100 K, but has this technology been implemented into any M88 variant?

The French are known to everbody to make the best FCS and the Rafale was the first fighter to use CDVO (Commande De Vol Optique) : Fly-By-Light (as opposed to fly-by-wire) . It is lighter , more reliable , not prone to corrosion (salty air) and impervious to nuclear blast . All the Rafale pilot praise the FBL and they say that that alone is already giving them an edge on older fighters . No F-Teen is equipped with FBL .

Next to the fact that "best FCS" is a bold claim without proper proof, FBL is certainly something I hear about the first time wrt the Rafale! A credible source would be nice, because EVERY source I have seen (including Dassault, AdA, MN...) states FBW!

It is about Spectra :
""One cannot fail to speak also about the Spectra system of protection and warning established on Rafale, which aims to identify threats to 360 ° around the plane in active or passive mode. It also suppresses the waves around the plane, which hampers its location even with the aid of the most powerful radar. ""

What exactly does this prove? It's nothing but a very basic description of the EWS, which could be applied to others as well, spare the passive detection (DDM), as there aren't to many tactical fighters out their at this point in time which feature such a system.

When you have to discuss things down to the fanboi level.
=====================================

Rafale is low-observable because of its jamming capabilities,     True

False.

Add to it, the fuel probe, the FLAT 90 degree plate plate of the RBE2 radar and the big honking drop tank every Rafale seems to carry and its an AMRAAM dream shot.

Proof that a powerful radar isn't necessary any more,     False

At last he admits Dassault/THALES SCREWED UP

The best BVR platform ever developed perhaps short of the F-22,     False

Again, F-35, F/A 18 E/F a few dozen types of American drones and just MAYBE the production model of the PAK-FA and the EF Typhoon crowd ahead of that bird.

The best Strike aircraft ever developed,    Possibly

F-35 and the Strike Eagle. Tests for tghe Sparky and COMBAT for the BEAGLE.

Aerodynamically optimised and perfect for every altitude band,    False

Quite correct. Its optimised for THICK air as much as it can be.

As or more survivable than several VLO platforms.   Possibly

Again false. USAF had no trouble tracking them during Red Flag.

That SPECTRA was an active cancellation suite capable of defeating AESA arrays.    Possibly

False. No algorithm, No Threat Library, limited retran  radiate power and computers a gen behind their competitors..

That the large refuelling probe didn't reflect radar as it was RAM coated : )    True

FALSE, you cannot put RAM on a fuel probe. Corrosion and surface pitting from JP-mixes are the LEAST of your worries.
That Rafale's frontal RCS would be comparable to that of the F-35.    False

Correct. The comparison is between a RAM coated barn door and a sparrow.  The Rafale is NOT the sparrow.

Incorrect. I make mistakes and admit them, when I find them. You, BW? You have to be cornered like a r at.

M-88-2 has an outlet temperatureplanned of 2100 K.

@MK :

""Any source for this? I'm aware that Snecma has been working on a turbine which can sustain up to 2100 K, but has this technology been implemented into any M88 variant? ""

In all my entire doc on the Rafale , only one paper talk about 2100 C . All the others say 2100 K .
So , I guess it 's a typo error and I go for 2100 C . I will call a friend and try to know more .

""Next to the fact that "best FCS" is a bold claim without proper proof, FBL is certainly something I hear about the first time wrt the Rafale! A credible source would be nice, because EVERY source I have seen (including Dassault, AdA, MN...) states FBW!""

Only the first prototypes used the FBW . The FBL has been tested later on on a M2000 and implemented on the serie Rafales under the name CDVO (Commandes De Vol Optiques) .

@Herald :

""its an AMRAAM dream shot.""
Negative . Amraam 's seeker and Up-link will be jammed .

""At last he admits Dassault/THALES SCREWED UP ""
Negative . Where did you get that anyway ? From your sick mind ?
Also , the SH hasn 't been designed to fight high and fast . This sluggish plane has very little chance of winning vs Rafale .

""F-35 and the Strike Eagle. Tests for tghe Sparky and COMBAT for the BEAGLE.""

The F-35 did not demonstrate anything yet , even in testing . The Strike-Eagle scored lower in Technicals than the Rafale , anyway it is an inferior aircraft and its survivability is compromised big time .

""Its optimised for THICK air as much as it can be.""

False . You obviously don 't read the Dassault studies I post . The Rafale works like a charm high and fast .

""USAF had no trouble tracking them during Red Flag.""

During RedFlag , Spectra is used as an ELINT system , not as a jammer as it is forbiden by AdlA and USAF rules .

""No algorithm, No Threat Library, limited retran  radiate power and computers a gen behind their competitors..""

False . Sources ? Prove you case or shut up , I said no more BS as long as I was going to be there .

""you cannot put RAM on a fuel probe. Corrosion and surface pitting from JP-mixes are the LEAST of your worries. ""

False , you don 't know what you are talking about . The rubber based RAM coating on the probe is changed every now and then as it 's degrading over time .
All in all Herald , you 're still bashing for free with no credible sources and you know too little . Learn French and go to some French military forums and let 's see how long you last .

Cheers .

Rubber based RAM dissolves in contact with POL by the way.

As for proof, REREAD the thread and look at what I provided you. Your challenges and claims supported by your own evidence you don't understand just make my points more solid.

The rest of your GARBAGE is just that, garbage.
