Wow - imagine the Chinese not wanting to sign a contract with a "thou shalt not steal" clause.  That ought to be a head-up to anyone looking to do business there.@import url http://www.strategypage.com/CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Load.ashx?type=style&file=SyntaxHighlighter.css);" target="_blank">link

This is further proof that all wars are about economics, and why continental-scale wars are a thing of the past.

In Alexander's and the Roman Empire's time an invading force could invade and plunder a foreign land.  THe same model held true through WWII and a little bit thereafter with colonies in African and the Indian sub-continent.

This model no longer holds water:  China's annexation of Tibet was the last large-scale land and resource grab to stick - the trend has been for former colonies and Soviet puppet states to declare independence.

So I have no pity for Russia - if they are really pissed they need to stop selling engines and spares.  Otherwise they need to take the money in one hand and stifle their pie-holes with the other.

Once again the authors of these "professionally" written articles keeps mistaking the Shenyang, etc. engine as a copy of the Russian one when they have totally different core designs etc. amongst other things.
