We(americans, amomg others) tried to help the broken nation of Somalia but were bitten by the mouth we were trying to feed. It seems the somalis are more inclined to live in a bad sequel to "Mad Max" than to become a true nation on the world stage.

An al Queada ambush so I've heard, good enough reason to go in and clean-out the entire nest of vipers and pirates preying on international shipping! Then, turn Somalia into an American Resort with RR and refueling facilities for Naval Forces in the region.
