***BTW, "TPD" refers to w.pekingduck.org*** Richard TPD's "public relations" firm is behind the Olympic Torch in Tibet Print | New Window Full Message Ned Kelly to you - 2 hrs ago More Details From: Ned Kelly Hide Add to: Blog, To Do, Calendar To: [email protected] Cc: Bcc: Date: Tue, 18 Mar 2008 10:53 am Nanhe, Richard TPD works for a public relations firm in Beijing, called "Ketchum". His firm is the one responsible for the "public relations" regarding the Olympic Torch. I cannot prove that he or his firm advised the Chinese government to carry the torch through Tibet and to "mount" it upon Everest. But even if they didn't advise China to do so, they really ed up in NEGLECTING to advise China NOT to do so. RIchard TPD, and his "public relations" firm (Ketchum) in Beijing, are responsible for the Olympic Torch, and its planned route through Tibet and to Everest - and that was the spark which ignited the fire in Tibet. Because the Tibetans knew that the Chinese (and their client, Nepal) would seal off the land border between Nepal and Tibet, JUST FOR THE SAKE OF THAT TORCH! RICHARD'S TORCH! Richard of TPD is the ing VICE PRESIDENT (http://www.linkedin.com/pub/1/A8A/B63) of the BEIJING "public relations" company (Ketchum in Beijing ) who handles "public relations" FOR THAT ING TORCH! Deal with it any way you wish. But please just get this information out, somehow, as long as you follow the Law. Because I want to vomit every time I see that SON OF A BITCH Richard writing "fair and balanced" things about Tibet, while I know that HE AND HIS EMPLOYERS were INSTRUMENTAL in MAKING THIS HAPPEN IN TIBET! And I don't want that creep to get away with it. "Ned Kelly"

doggtag    It would be funny as sh**...   3/18/2008 3:18:11 PM
...if between now and August,
enough people got together and encouraged a mass boycott of the 2008 games just like was done in 1980 with Moscow.

No, I'm not encouraging anarchy.
I'm just saying, I think it would be
(poetic justice?
epitome of irony?
ya get what's coming to ya?
as ye sow, so shall ye reap?)
funny to see china bite the big one over all this (current and past human rights issues).
Even better if it brings to light the dirty dealings of a handful of MNC execs and their thugs-for-hire lapdogs that "help maintain order" during such crises.

Hell, Blackwater just "accidentally" kills civilians here and there. But at least they aren't guilty of locking down an entire nation "protectorate" under a media blackout and turning it into one big commie-fest police state.

Try typing "china blocks youtube" into any search engine and look at the mess that comes up.

Control the media, control the mind.

"...But, but, but...! china can't be evil! Look at all the cheap stuff they make for us!
And they're even nice enough to host the Olympic Games!
Shame on people for picking on poor china, trying to make them look bad!"
