It is mostly another show about China's contrasts, but there are some little known truths such as the hopelessness of the peasants, the unfamiliar luxury of the noveau riche (and their lack of etiquette), the sellout, traitorous foreigners ( I really wanted to strangle those "win-win" Americans).

Tonight, the truth about how the middle aged people in China miss the Mao years, when everyone was poor but equal and simple.

No kidding Nan,

That I Banker he was talking to on the balcony on Chongqing was the type of Expat you have been talking about for years. I wanted to throttle him.

I also find it interesting that he is doing this in Chongqing. It was a good move, I told you about my visit there. It was the most surprising. I expected what I saw in BJ and SH but Chingqing with its mist (or polution) with the green hills, humidity, the Chiense, dozens of bridges and the two rivers made it like a mix of Hong Kong, Portland and Manhatten.

Yeah, a western city from hell.  That was not water mist, that was smog mist.  The air is that saturated with poisons there and the geography doesn't help.  30 million people in an urban area the size of Pittsburgh.

As for the i-banker, at least he was young, the expats get really seedy, disgusting and vulger as they get older and their time in China passes the 10 year mark.
