Payback Time
6/11/2012 9:49:16 AM
"The U.S. is particularly angry at Pakistan's continued support for the Haqqani Network, a largely Afghan group that operates out of Pakistan to make attacks on enemies (political and business) in Afghanistan." That little jem is only surpassed by "The compound where Osama bin Laden was killed by U.S. forces is located a bit more than 1,000 yards from a Pakistan Military Academy" (Source:
http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2011/05/02/how-did-bin-laden-hide-just-yards-from-pakistan-military-academy/
). " target="_blank">link Pakistan's duplicity justifies some well deserved payback. The American consumer can enact this payback by refusing to buy goods made in Pakistan. Textiles worth billions of dollars are imported into the United States each year. ( Source:
http://www.ustr.gov/countries-regions/south-central-asia/pakistan
)" target="_blank">link .
Nothing is more convincing than the complete absence of sales. Therefore, when you go into a retail store that sells textiles, check the textiles' country of origin listed on the tag attached to the product. If the textiles are Pakistani then inform the retailer that it is selling products from a country that supported Osama Bin Laden. I recently discovered that the Meijer store near my home was selling Pakistani textiles. Using Meijer's web site
http://www.meijer.com
," target="_blank">link I sent a complaint to Meijer. The response that I got was a statement that Meijer was in compliance with all the laws of the United States. Perhaps a few thousand letters on the same subject would convince Meijer to use India or some other partner in the War on Terror as a source of their textiles.
Another option would be to limit student visas for Pakistani students. Since Pakistan has betrayed the American taxpayer, I really do not want to subsidize the public university costs of a Pakistani student. Send your thoughts on this subject to your representative in Congress.

Bad Links
6/11/2012 10:58:12 AM
Three of the four links in the above comment are contaminated because punctuation is concatenated at the end of the address. When adding a link to text, place a blank after the end of the link to prevent the problem. To make the current links work, remove the punctuation from the address and retry the address. I will be more careful next time.
