Migration  from  North  korea  to China  does not stop  at  there . Moves  forward  to Russia after  that  probably  to USA

Actually NK produced a 3 day invasion video of their own 4 minute annihilation. All kidding aside, now that SK has made it clear they will retaliate to any incident like the shelling of an island or sinking a ship, it will be interesting to see if NK puts them to the test. If NK does, then its a lock certainty they're crazy and should be put out of their misery.

Given the amount of bombast by both sides you have to wonder:
1.  Is the SK actually prepared to retaliate?  At least some of the plans have to have been updated and prepared since they were found missing during the incidents you referred to, but are the political decision makers breifed and mentaly prepared to authorize them to go ahead and accept the consiquences?

2.  Does the NK believe them?  SK has an established history of threatening reprisals and never following through because of the fear of escallation, why shouldn't NK feel this is more of the same?
 
3.  What does the NK leadership have to lose?  Think about it.
a.  NK creates an incident, SK counter attacks, and NK screams to the compliant 'world press' and angles for a bribe in return for not further escallating the situation.
 
b.  NK creates an incident, SK doesn't respond, and NK parades its victory over the cowrdly capitolists to the compliant 'world press' and angles for a bribe in return for not further escallating the situation.
 
c.  NK impliments economic reforms which reduce the livelyhoods of those in the upper ranks, resulting a 'palace revolution' eliminating the 'reformers' and returning to the status quo.
 
d.  NK does nothing, the wheels finish falling off the economy, and the NK leadership attempts to flee the country ahead of the howling mob.
So, which option would you pick?
