Subject: Abuse in ROK army

There has been some attention drawn to bullying in the ROK Army after a soldier fragged some of his collegues for bullying.

Is it true that a soldier was made to eat becoz he did not flush a latrine?

Abuse of conscripts was absolutely awful. Physical violence is very accepted there as a solution to problems. Quick fix mentality, IMO.

The soldier was not forced to eat anything. If I remember correctly, it was due to some crude senseless jokes that his superiors said using his name.

THE KATUSAS ARE AMARICANIZED YEAH THERE A LITTLE TUFF ON EACH OTHER BUT THEY GOT IT GOOD COMPARED TO KOREAN ARMY ROK SOLDIERS THERE TREATED LIKE CRAP THEY TRAIN HARD AND IF THEY MESSED THEY GET SKUFFED VARY BAD IV SEEN IT AND ITS NOT NICE,THERES WAR OUT THERE YOU HAVE TO BE HARD ON JOE WERE SOLDIERS TRAIN HARD TO LIVE AND FIGHT ANOTHER DAY.
