Send in the PAF to bomb the new Chinese facilities in the Spratleys. China and other claimants respect and respond to only force. The PI must show it is willing to fight for its rights, and that it wil do so independent of any other major world power, if it so chooses. THE LONGER THE CHINESE STAY THERE, THE CLOSER THEY WILL BUILD TO THE PI! THEY NEED STAGING/JUMPOFF LEAPFROG BASES QUICK ACCESS INTO THE PI AND OR WESTPAC-CENTPAC!

Bomb? With what? Hang gliders? Until the PAF, in fact the entire Philippines military, is completely rebuilt from the ground up it will be incapable of enforcing law in its own territory much less antagonizing its neighbors. Over the past 50 years the Philippines military has been allowed to deteriorate to the point that it is the 'weak man" of southeast asia. A comparison of the Philippines with other regional forces from comparably sized, in some cases much smaller, nations (Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Australia) shows that the Philippines would be incapable of successfully confronting any of them.
