With each Griffin B costing approximately $45,000 each, it isn't hard to see why Raytheon is so crazy about them - they stand to make a TON of dough.  Now where I'm all about whats cool, etc., there is a point to where we need to br practical.   

 

Bullets and shells are cheap (not counting GPS guided, etc );  Missiles are expensive.  We'd be spending far more on each missile to kill a speedboat than the speedboat is worth - when we could be doing it for a lot less money using traditional firepower (which is a whole lot cheaper).
