Any chance of a cruise missile/drone hybrid?  Or a cruise missile with multiple warheads and the ability to strike at multiple targets?  For example radar installations:  a 2000 lb warhead is overkill in most cases.  (proof is that current 1000 lb warhead tomahawks seem to work just fine).  Could a cruise missile xr be configured to release 1/2 of it's submunitions over one target and the rest over the second?  Or even 3 or 4 doses of death form above?  The current cruise missile carries 166 bomblets, double that on the new 2000 lb warhead Cruise XR, so why not 2 targets?

 

 

The $3mm price tag is more palatable if one weapon can strike multiple targets when a one ton warhead is not required to get the job done.
