Oh, so NOW you invite us back.  Methinks that the 'rent' payment should be the other way around.  In fact if you want us to protect your oil and gas assets, what is that worth to you?  20% of the reserves?

My first port call in Subic was early 1982.  Then every year until 1987, we visited at least once. I was stationed there from 1987 to 1989 then I vacationed there as a civilian from 1990 to 1991. It is one of those places, like some parts of mexico, that are so beautiful, but dangerous. the people and the mosquitos.
