Subject: Whose War Is It? It is worth the read.
Griffin    2/28/2007 10:58:39 PM
"Whose War Is It?" follows Dr. Jack Granastein's long series of books including many best sellers on Canadian Military History and politically related discourse, and 'takes no prisoners' when it comes to the folly of Canadian governments and the public, when it comes to defence issues, and the poor political choices we too often make.

A former RMC Graduate, former Director of the Canadian War Museum, and a prolific writer, Granatstein doesn't mince words about what is wrong with Canadian attitudes that have left us wanting in terms of being a reliable ally and in too many cases a friendly neighbour to the US. He definitely flies in the face of the myths about Canada being a peacekeeping leader, etc. so if you get the book be ready for his challenges to the status quo.

A good read of Granatstein's before one reads his latest book would be "Who Killed the Canadian Military?
