1. First off, let me preface this by saying I do not see any personal advantage to any type of generalized hate, whether in speech or deed.
2. If someone wants to post STUPID articles from STUPID sources, open dialog and refutation is the stronger solution, not censorship.
3. It's pretty vague exactly what X-MAN posted but it sounds like, from Sysop's reaction and explanation, it falls under the Rules of Use: "Our website is dedicated to MILITARY AND GEOPOLITICAL affairs and related items of interest."
4. Therefore Sysop's action, I'm guessing here, very probably could be one of someone who is Jewish and feeling offended at the suggestion that any Israeli could possibly have done anything wrong. But such irrelevancies are myopic.
5. I therefore am revoking my subscription and deleting myself from this board.


By the way, Semites are sons of Shem and therefore include both Jews and Arabs. Anti-Semites are technically both anti-Jew and anti-Arab

While Semites can refer to various peoples of Middle Eastern extraction, the term "anti-Semite" replaces an earlier German term called "Judenhass" (sp?) which means specifically "Jew-hatred." You could look it up. This is a common fallacy foisted on people with poor English skills by people of bad will. Which are you?

Seems like X-man was guilty of the latter. SOunds more like SysOps saw a clear violation of the rules of use, and got rid of a antiSemitic troll before it infected the boards. As to the term Anti-Semitic, Nichevo covers it all nicely. swhitebull
