swhitebull - btw- I got 54 of 60, and had some glaringly embarrassing mistakes. It's all multiple choice. (be careful weh you hop from question to question)

56 out of 60.  The economics questions killed me, and apparently I need to re-read my Tocqueville.

Quite a few guesses (luckily correct) for someone who majored in History (American History, no less) in college. Was actually kind of 'sweatin it...' Shame on me.

Conclusion so far - when it comes to basic knowledge of history, the average poster on SP is head and shoulders above the typical student being produced in our university systems.

swhitebull -  no prize for that observation. My guess is that most of us have advanced degrees as well, or have that passion to learn and to question on our own, rather than to being spoonfed by biased professors.

I did worse than the average 71%, a lot was very specific to the US.

PS
I still don't regret the time spent drinking beer instead of study.
