Sigh.

This is only the beginning, I fear.

It's what happens when someone of such inexperience is given such great reigns of power and authority.

 

Look what happened to the ancient dynasties of china and Egypt when children inherited the throne.

Little good came of it, because, surrounded by an army of "advisors", no one dared criticize the living "god" for any foolish mandates and royal decrees, for fear of becoming an enemy of the state,

which back then, meant execution was sure to follow...today we just resort to character assassination of all accusers, political ostracism, and still pretty much having a hoard of those everything-the-king-says-is-law! believers who pretty much continue to blindly follow, and criticize every new accuser who has something to say that they don't want to hear.

 

...and this is still only the first year.

 

Does such a suggestion make me a racist now, too?

Or just a traitorous, political heathen?

 

What next? America's own equivalent of sharia laws, where slander becomes the rocks that the masses agree are necessary to be thrown (gotta teach people a lesson, don't we?), under approval of (or even incited by) the new king's advisors?

 

And to think we have at least 3 more years of this...

It'll be armed revolution before that happens.

 

I don't think it'll come to that--not when Obama is getting slammed by just suggesting public option in health care reform.
