From a combat perspective, I'm not terribly impressed.  It still has essentially the same capability and weapons suite as the land based MiG-29s, so I'm confident that it's on its way out.  The Russians don't really upgrade their aircraft as much as we do; it seems like they just build new ones.  I'd be much more concerned about the Su series...
