Subject: Which country is the greatest enemy of Fundementalist Islam?
ilpars    5/20/2004 7:55:36 AM
This is from Iraq board which I think more suitable to this board. From Robert Spencer; the director of Jihad Watch "The Muslim Brotherhood, the prototypical Muslim radical group of the modern age, was founded in Egypt by Hassan Al-Banna in 1928. The Brotherhood emerged as a response to the abolition of the caliphate by Turkish secularist pioneer Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in 1924. Al-Banna and the Brotherhood considered Islam to have an essential political and social character that needed to be reasserted in the face of the societal ills that had come to the Islamic world with secularism. Al-Banna excoriated Ataturk for separating ?the state from religion in a country which was until recently the site of the Commander of the Faithful.? Sounding notes that Osama bin Laden would echo decades later, Al-Banna characterized the abolition of the caliphate as just part of a larger ?Western invasion which was armed and equipped with all [the] destructive influences of money, wealth, prestige, ostentation, power and means of propaganda.?[2]" Turkey is an enemy of fundementalism since 1924 longer than any other nation. That was not an easy struggle. In Ataturk's time, thousands of fundementalists sent to prison or executed for the charge of treason. Al-Queda not only attacked USA or Europe; it has also attacked Turkey. More than that different fundementalist groups had attacked Turkey or tried to since 1924. Do not be at fault. Biggest enemy of fundementalism is Turkey not USA. They hated Turkey more than they hate Israel or USA. In their eyes we are traitors that have chosen the enemy camp. Unlike them we are secularist, modern. Many of them had much more money than us(especially Saudi Arabia) but they are much more backward. It is easy for a fanatic to label every muslim as a supporter of terrorism. But the truth is opposite. The real war is not a War of Religion, or culture. It is a war for the future of Muslim nations. Will the future of Muslim nations be like secularist and modern Turkey; nationalist Syria-Iraq or fundementalist Iran-Saudia Arabia?

American Kafir    RE:AK, sheeps and dogs   5/25/2004 11:20:12 AM
You're misreading me, Ilpars. A lot of my frustration is born of being assaulted on a daily basis by an opinion poll or news story about what people who consider Osama Bin Laden a hero in the Islamic world think of what America is doing in the Middle East. I just want to get it through the thick skulls in Washington that we (the average American people) don't give a rat's ass about what the Islamic world thinks. Many of us believe we're wasting money keeping civilian casualties down with high-tech guided weapons, money that could be spent on intel to locate large concentrations of people to bomb. Where's the poll that asks Americans how much we want to bomb the Middle East?

ilpars    Strategy against rebel dogs and sheeps.   5/25/2004 11:51:46 AM
I believe the winning strategy is simple (but takes long time to accomplish) It is the dogs who revolted their ex-masters. Commie Men and western men used them against each other. Now the cold war has ended, and they saw they are not needed any more. That is why thet revolted. They are the enemy not the naive sheeps. Kill the rebel dogs. Survivors will relearn who is the master. Stop being arrogant and talk with sheeps. Do not use loyal dogs to handle them. That is how everything started anyway. Educate the sheeps. Rescue them from being a sheep. Help the sheeps to rebuild their homes, their lives. Do not let the loyal dogs help them. Let the sheep know men and men know sheep. One fears and hate that he does not know. Show that you are not the enemy of sheepkind.

...to kill the wolf. You burn the forest down to kill the disease that has already infected the forest, before it can spread to another forest.

No! They don't understand it, and until they do understand, we are all in greater danger. Unless islam eliminates those that commit terror in islam's name, islam is guilty.

...is not the result of anything other than the religion dictating military conquest over non-believers. (You, your wife, your kids, your parents, your brothers, your sisters, your neighbors, your religious leaders, your elected officials, your educators, and especially those who defend you.)

Bud, You aren't understanding something. We're killing the dogs and trying to talk with the sheep(topple the taliban and topple sadam, rebuild the country. The sheep just seem to keep bleating that we've offended them by killing the dog and that they're going to keep blowing us up anyways, whether we leave or not). This 'we need to talk to them,' strategy has been tried before. Britian tried. Look where it got them(rise of the IRA, the assasination of MOuntbatten. It wasn't till they loosed the SAS and built checkpoints that it statred to calm down). I'm using your metphors so don't get pissed off okay. THe US is in the ME showing the sheep that they can live as they choose. They don't have to follow the Islamic Fundementalist dogs. The sheep turn rabid and blame us and vow to attack us, even though we freed them from the cowardly dogs(the IRaqi who told the AP that he killed to Americans and wanted to kill more). Well, we Men of the West aren't going to be pushed around by sheep and cowardly dogs who use sheep to do their fighting. We will kill every single creature if that's what it takes. Call it naive, call it short sighted, call it evil if you want to. But accept that that's what we Americans can do, and can be pushed to. We'd rather live peacefully with the sheep.(Hey sheep. we got stuff to trade with you, you got something we want?). But the sheep don't listen to us. They keep listening to the cowardly, ultra-Islamist dogs. It seems to us men that the sheep WANT to listen to the islamic dogs. What are we to do then? Worry about the feelings and wants of the sheep? We;ve shown the sheep another way. They reject it. We try to talk to the sheep(sanctions against Iran, Iraq, Libya). They call us murderers for it. Sorry sheep. We're running out of patience and getting tired of losing men. It's the propoganda of the islamic dogs that keep leading you sheep astray, not we men who abuse you. We offer the sheep a choice. Be nice and you will get the protection we men can offer. Listen to the dogs, and we'll treat you like dogs.

"With greater power, there must also come the greater responsibility." from Ben Parker, Spider-Man's uncle. Yes, you have the power of killing all the sheeps in the world. But doing this killing millions for the crime of thousands is your only alternative. Do police kill entire family of a murderer because of his crimes? Or do you only after a blood-vendetta?
